Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations for our opening location in Chicago. This role is ideal for a chef with a strong foundation in upscale dining, steakhouse-adjacent cuisine, or classic American cooking, combined with proven leadership and operational skills. The Executive Chef will be responsible for help with menu development, team building, kitchen systems, and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. Qualifications Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Chef de CuisineBackground in upscale dining, steakhouse, classic American, or luxury hotel kitchensStrong leadership and team-development skillsSolid understanding of food costing, labor control, and kitchen operationsAbility to lead calmly and effectively in a high-expectation environmentOpening experience is a plus, but not required Key Responsibilities Oversee all culinary operations and kitchen leadershipDevelop and execute menus grounded in classic technique and premium ingredientsRecruit, train, and mentor a professional kitchen teamEstablish kitchen systems, standards, and opening proceduresManage food costs, labor, inventory, and vendor relationshipsEnsure consistency, quality, and execution across all servicesMaintain health, safety, and sanitation complianceCollaborate with FOH leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (commensurate with experience)Performance-based bonus potentialOpportunity to shape a new restaurant from the ground upGrowth potential as the concept evolvesSupportive ownership group with a collaborative approach Curious about Life at Levy?
