In addition, this role will complete complex electrical testing of products during the manufacturing process based on established testing procedures.**What a typical day looks like:*** Oversees the work of assigned team employees.* Addresses minor discipline problems with team members; refers more serious cases to the supervisor.* Assists with the planning and preparation of training for new team members.* Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegates assignments based on team members skills and experience.* Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments* Partners with supervisor or engineering manager to resolve any issues that arise within department.* Monitors testing status daily; gathers feedback from all test technicians.* Follow AC/DC schematics and wiring diagrams to do testing of main electrical distribution AC/DC systems* Work closely with engineering and production team members to ensure accurate, efficient and timely execution of required testing work* Be able to troubleshoot assembly, wiring and testing problems* Performs testing on various systems including HVAC system, lighting, receptacles, fans, fire alarm systems, battery system, and meggering of cables.* Drafts detailed technical reports to present findings; based on findings, recommends modifications needed to correct production problems* Perform other related duties as assigned**The experience we’re looking to add to our team:*** High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.* At least 4 years of experience in electrical testing or related field* Relevant experience leading a team.* Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and single line diagrams.* Knowledge in testing of three phase AC and DC control circuits.* Good working knowledge of standard electrical testing and measuring equipment* Knowledge of Electrical Safety Procedures and NEC Codes* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss product flaws in a constructive and positive manner.* Excellent interpersonal skills.* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare test reports and proposals.**What the physical requirements are**:* Periods of standing, walking, and sitting at a desk using a computer* Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time* Must be able to traverse production facility to complete testing* Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor#LI-GB1**What you'll receive for the great work you provide:*** Full range of medical, dental, and vision plans* Life Insurance* Short-term and Long-term Disability* Matching 401(k) Contributions* Vacation and Paid Sick Time* Tuition ReimbursementPay Range (Applicable to California)### ### $29.86 USD - $41.06 USD Hourly## ## Job CategoryProduction Engineering## NoCrown is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
