Overview
Concentra, one of the largest health care companies in the nation, is looking for an orthopedic spine surgeon to come on site as a 1099 independent contractor. This contract position is intended to complement your current practice. A typical partnership involves treating patients on site at Concentra for approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis. Concentra Advanced Specialists assist in the management of medically complex patients, expedite return to work and functional restoration.
You will work collaboratively with medical and therapy providers to provide specialist services (non-surgical and surgical) for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries, communicate with employers, and take an active role in case management. The treatments you provide will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who seek our care and comfort.
Responsibilities
Treat patients on site for on-site (approximately 4-hour) shifts on a weekly or biweekly basis. Collaborate with medical and therapy providers to manage musculoskeletal injuries. Provide specialist services, both non-surgical and surgical, as appropriate for work-related injuries. Communicate with employers and actively participate in case management.
Qualifications
