Senior Network Security Engineer Location: Dallas, TX Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr Role Overview Glocomms, partnered with a leading investment firm, is seeking a talented Senior Network Security Engineer to manage global network infrastructure across office and data center environments. This senior role focuses on delivering high-performance, resilient, and scalable networking solutions in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain enterprise-scale network infrastructure using Cisco and Arista technologies. Troubleshoot complex network issues involving routing, switching, firewalls, and WAN. Automate operational tasks with Python, Ansible, and Git. Implement WAN networks with IOS-XR, segment routing, and multitenant designs. Monitor and optimize network health using advanced telemetry tools. Support Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices for network provisioning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic network initiatives. Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing. Required Skills & Experience Extensive experience with large-scale enterprise or data center networks. Expertise in Cisco and Arista platforms (IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS, EOS). Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS. Familiarity with WAN technologies, SD-WAN, and segment routing. Scripting and automation skills (Python, Ansible, Jinja2, Git). Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities. CCNP or equivalent certification preferred; CCIE a plus.
