A school district in North Marion County is looking for dedicated School Behavioral Therapist to join their team for the 2024 - 2025 school year with the possibility to extend.**Responsibilities of a School Behavioral Therapist: * Assess students' behavioral needs and create individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) * Implement behavior modification techniques to address student behavioral challenges * Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' emotional and behavioral development * Provide one-on-one or group interventions to teach social, communication, and coping skills * Monitor and document student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed * Conduct behavioral assessments and analyze data to track effectiveness of interventions Support students with developmental, emotional, or behavioral disorders (e.g., ADHD, autism, anxiety) * Assist in creating positive behavior reinforcement strategies * Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings for students receiving special education services * Provide crisis intervention and support for students experiencing emotional or behavioral distress * Train and educate school staff and parents on behavior management techniques * Maintain compliance with school policies and legal guidelines for behavior support and special education services.
