About the Team The team's work encompasses the entire lifecycle of software artifacts, from inception to archival. Artifactory provides central, immutable storage and version control for all build artifacts, including application binaries, packages, and container images. It acts as a necessary gate between third‑party and open‑source software registries (e.g., npmjs.org for JavaScript) and development environments, enforcing that all artifacts at Capital One are sourced through a single ingress point where scanning can occur and admissions controls can be performed.
