Overview This is a pharmacy technician position in a fast paced, high volume Ambulatory/Retail Pharmacy. Our pharmacy provides 340B medications for eligible ambulatory patients at UF Health Jacksonville, medications to discharged patients via the Meds to Beds program, and specialty medications for qualified patients. The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for maintaining medication systems through preparation, compounding, packaging and delivery of medications. Qualifications Required Education: High School Diploma or GEDPreferred Education: High school graduate with at least one (1) year pharmacy technician experienceRequired Licensure/Certification: Registered Pharmacy Intern in Florida or Registered Pharmacy Technician in FloridaRequired Experience: less than one (1) year of experience - see required education and required licensure/certification sections for detailsPreferred Experience: One or more years of pharmacy technician experienceNecessary Skills: 1. Excellent math skills 2. Excellent customer service and compassion for our patients 3. Good organization and communication skills 4. Ability to perform detailed tasks with accuracy and efficiency 5. Flexible and dependable 6. Ability to work alongside multiple team membersAge of Patients Served: All Age Groups
