We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new ideas. Which is where you come in What you will be doing As reliability engineer you are responsible to improve the reliability, operability and maintainability of all production facilities, energy installations, structures and buildings of the business unit CSM Olen. On daily basis you will work in close cooperation with production and maintenance department to achieve the targets and with engineering for new projects. Your duties will include: Responsible for the optimal functioning of the production installations of the business unit RBM Olen refining. Driving the transition from reactive maintenance to proactive asset management. You realize this by maximizing the reliability of the equipment at an economically Total Cost of Ownership. Organize proactive Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) sessions and reactive root cause analyses. Out of this you defined the best maintenance strategy, deduce inspection plans and develop or optimize maintenance and operating instructions. Look at critical equipment and initiate continuous improvement based on OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). In the context of RCM sessions and continuous improvement initiatives you coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams consisting of Production Managers, Maintenance Managers, Project Engineers, Supervisors, Operators and craftsmen. As a teamplayer you share best practices within the reliability team. Assist (when needed) operational maintenance with major breakdowns. Manage the Life Cycle Management process used in new investments projects, including the legal aspects (compliance). Who we are looking for Education Master degree (technical) or equivalent through experience and has 1 to 3 years of experience in maintenance/reliability engineering, preferably within the process industry. Technical skills Has in-depth knowledge of maintenance methods, preventive and predictive maintenance techniques and knows the methodologies used to improve the availability of installations (RCM, FMEA, …). Has in-depth technical knowledge (electromechanics: hydraulics; pneumatics; electricity,…), knowledge of maintenance techniques and basic knowledge of different materials Has a good knowledge of SAP-PM and maintenance work processes (e.g. work order management). Is fluent in Dutch and English and has sufficient knowledge of French and German to understand and communicate technical instruction documents. Translate department objectives into an action plan. Knows the basic principles of didactics to transfer knowledge (lead meetings) and participate/lead in improvement sessions. Knows how to choose the right people for multidisciplinary teams and creates a team spirit Possess the necessary people skills to introduce new proactive working methods What we offer We aim to lead the way.
