Pay Details:
$55/hour blended rate = $2,200 weekly gross
Pay Breakdown:
Weekly travel stipend: $29/hr
Weekly Taxable: $26/hr
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various medical settings.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures, such as spinal taps and catheter care
- Provide care for patients across different age groups, including pediatrics and assisted living residents
- Perform IV infusions and ventilator care as needed
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
Skills:
- Proficient in coding and billing procedures
- Experience in hospital medicine and acute care settings
- Ability to ventilate patients when necessary
- Skilled in IV infusion therapy
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and interpreting test results
- Competent in providing alimentation through various routes
- Familiarity with catheter care techniques
