As a PENRAD Imaging Registered Nurse you will utilize your expertise to:
Provide optimum patient care utilizing the nursing process,
Administer medications, monitor patient condition, document/assist in the treatment of contrast reactions,
Intervene in emergency situations,
Administer conscious sedation,
Assist in various radiology procedures including catheterization,
Port access,
Document patient status and nursing interventions,
Monitor medications including narcotics,
Maintain emergency equipment,
Provide staff education on patient care, safety, infection control, and continuity of patient care,
Provide health teaching and procedural information to patients and families verbally or with written materials created by the RN,
Demonstrate PENRAD Imaging’s core values at all times to patients and coworkers: Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Innovation and Excellence
Qualified Applicants will require:
Current Colorado Nursing license,
Accredited Registered Nursing program graduate certificate,
Current certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support,
10 years’ experience required,
Radiology nursing experience preferred.
Along with competitive wages, PRNs earn sick time accrual based on hours worked.
