Join us :) Open role: Data Scientist – AI Matching Natalia Małeczek Talent Acquisition Expert Data Scientist – AI Matching Who are we looking for: We are looking for a Data Scientist who is proactive, curious about new AI trends, and passionate about building systems that learn and adapt to user behavior. You should be a collaborative innovator, skilled at visualizing complex data and working closely with engineers to bring personalization models to life. The role & the team: As a Data Scientist in the AI Recommendation & Matching Models Team, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of models that personalize the user experience on our platform. Your primary goal is to design and build sophisticated recommendation engines and learning-to-rank systems. Your work will optimize matching and result ordering, directly influencing user engagement and platform efficiency. What will you do: Design and train machine learning (ML) models (e.g., boosting, deep learning, recommendation, time series) and AI/GenAI-based solutions. Design and train recommendation systems and learning-to-rank models to optimize matching and result ordering. Build and develop user profiles and embeddings (user/item) based on behavioral, contextual, and historical data. Collaborate with MLOps engineers to deploy models (online and offline) and ensure their scalability, stability, and continuous monitoring and optimization. Prepare, explore, and perform feature engineering on large, complex datasets, focusing on key features for matching and ranking models. Create insightful visualizations to present data-driven conclusions to stakeholders and actively track AI trends to improve recommendation methodologies. Required skills: Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role. Experience working with large datasets. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Snowflake. Experience with version control systems (Git) and development environments like Jupyter Notebooks/JupyterLab. Language: Polish Tool Pro: Knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Learning-to-Rank algorithms, methods, and best practices. Good knowledge of Python and Data Science libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, CatBoost, XGBoost, LightGBM, Scikit-Learn, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Proficient in SQL with practical experience in querying relational/non-relational databases. Ability to create data visualizations using tools like Plotly or Streamlit. Experience in building personalization or matching systems. Experience using LLMs to generate contextual recommendations and user profiles.
