KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Property Tax Compliance to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice. Responsibilities Provide excellent client service to multi-state companies with property tax compliance Evaluate information presented on property tax returns before, during, and after preparation Assist in property tax bill payment and return preparation using Property Tax Management Services (PTMS) Review assessment notices to identify any discrepancies Qualifications Minimum three years of recent work experience, including a minimum of two years of experience in personal property tax compliance preparing property tax returns, bill payments, and valuation notices using PTMS Bachelor's degree required. J.D., LL.M. in taxation; master's in taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university or CMI (Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation) preferred Experience with various other taxes and their impact on property tax Strong knowledge of the development, planning, and execution related to property tax Additional Information Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: General Business KPMG LLP and its affiliates and subsidiaries (“KPMG”) complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
