**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
**Must-Have:** Experience with CAPD (Peritoneal Dialysis) is a plus, but not required.
**Job Description:**
- Primary assignment is with a Progressive Care Unit with floating required throughout different facilities in Region III.
- Work closely with an integrated team to provide care for patients with conditions such as CVA/TIA, STEMI/NSTEMI, acute and chronic renal failure, and other critical conditions.
- Handle drips such as nitroglycerin, heparin, cardizem, and more.
- Nurses are expected to read telemetry strips with the support of remote monitoring techs.
- Hospitalist and Intensivist support available 24/7.
- Participate in a structured orientation including policy/procedure and on-unit training with a preceptor; support provided for EPIC charting system as needed.
- Weekend shifts required every other weekend; holiday shifts required.
- Work alongside a cohesive and supportive team, high patient turnover, and dynamic environment.
- Maintain compliance with attendance policy, permitting absences only with valid reason and ensuring fairness to the core staff.
