Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Locum Physician Hospitalist with expertise in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB) in Fort Worth, TX. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide vital women s health services on a flexible, per diem basis while supporting a well-established OB Hospitalist Program. Make a meaningful impact in a thriving community renowned for its vibrant culture, affordable living, and excellent quality of life.In this role, you will be instrumental in managing OB triage and admissions, attending deliveries, providing inpatient care, covering the OB floor, and responding to GYN emergencies. You will also assist with Cesarean sections and emergency labor and delivery response, working in a collaborative environment supported by advanced healthcare technology and a dedicated administrative team.Required Skills: MD or DO certification valid in Texas Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care and labor & delivery management Ability to perform OB triage, admissions, and delivery attendance Competence in surgical assists, including Cesarean sections Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills Flexibility to work varied shifts, including overnight and weekend coverage Nice to Have Skills: Experience with high-volume OB hospitalist programs Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems Previous work in hospitalist or OB hospitalist roles Bilingual skills to enhance patient communication Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years' experience in OB hospitalist or obstetric inpatient care Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology preferred Other Requirements: Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure Ability to work on specific scheduled dates with flexibility for additional coverage; candidates must be willing to credential 2-3 providers for coverage Certification in Hospital or OB/GYN-related specialties preferred Availability for varied shifts, including 24-hour call coverage and holiday shifts This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $214.50 per hour, with the flexibility you desire.
