The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, managing and motivating teams, facilitating customer service and ensuring the achievement of revenue and market growth targets.
This role is crucial in expanding our market presence, fostering client relationships, and enhancing our overall sales and marketing performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies that align with company goals to achieve revenue targets and market growth. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales, customer success and marketing teams, including Account Executives (AE), Customer Success (CS), SDRs, Art Directors, graphic artists and other staff, ensuring high performance and professional growth. Closing Support: Provide management support to AEs and CSs to close deals and grow clients. Brand Management: Oversee and drive marketing efforts to increase brand awareness, including campaigns, digital advertising, and partnerships to position MCL as the market leader in premium holiday lighting.
Client Relationship Management: Oversee key client relationships, working closely with Customer Success to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and growth. Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales and marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to meet and exceed targets. Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, non-seasonal revenue, upselling, and expanding market share while also working with marketing to attract new clients and increase brand presence. Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales and marketing performance reports to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Budget Management: Manage the sales and marketing department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for sales and marketing initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience
in the seasonal products industry is a plus.
Skills
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and marketing targets.
