**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIH
**Must-Have:** Cardiac PCU experience
**Job Description:**
- Work in an intermediate/step-down cardiac unit specializing in post-operative coronary bypass graft, valve surgery, chest pain, dysrhythmia with pre/post pacemaker/AICD placement, pre/post cath lab, and CHF.
- Handle patient ratios of 4-5:1, with the possibility of 6:1 on rare occasions.
- Use equipment such as Omnicell and work with Cerner EMR.
- Participate in floating requirements within PCU and Med Surg units.
- Demonstrate competency in cardiac drips, including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Primacor, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Heparin.
- Possess skills in post-cath sheath removal.
- Must work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Adhere to dress code with Galaxy Blue scrubs.
