Your Role The Developer & Employee Experience Team serves at the direction of the Sr. Director of Technical Engineering, enabling BSC's journey to the cloud. This Platform Engineer, Principal role will report to the Sr. Manager of the Kubernetes Enginering team. In this role you will design, build, and maintain Kubernetes and containerization related technologies in service of our Internal Developer Platform. As the technical lead of the team, you will also guide others in doing the same. Your Knowledge and Experience Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Requires 10 years of professional experience serving as a technical expert and thought leader in enterprise Platform development and operation Strong hands-on experience with cloud in a heavily regulated environment Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language (Python, Go) highly desired In depth knowledge of cloud hosting providers, especially Microsoft Azure Current CKA Certification or equivalent knowledge Additional Kubernetes certifications strongly preferred Experience working in an agile development environment is strongly desired Experience working remotely is strongly desired #J-18808-Ljbffr
