**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS required
**Must-Have:**
- IMCU Level RN experience
- Ability to float to IMCU/Tele/CDU
**Job Description:**
- Provide care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as respiratory failure, cardiac issues, renal issues, CIWA, and GI problems
- Work in a mixed Tele and IMCU environment on two floors with varying patient ratios
- Perform special procedures such as pre/post cardiac cath, bipap, breathing treatments, cardioversion/defibrillation, and use of cooling/warming blankets
- Manage and care for equipment including epidural pumps, feeding tubes, fistulas, PCA pumps, PICC/central lines, and wound vacs
- Administer medications such as amiodarone, beta blockers, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine, heparin, insulin, levophed, magnesium sulfate, milrinone, nitroglycerin, and norepinephrine
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Administer blood products and procedural sedation
- Manage chest tubes, Emerson/Pleur-evac systems, and tracheostomies
- Adapt to various technology platforms, primarily utilizing EPIC for documentation
**Additional Information:**
- Health system mandates floating to other units as needed within a 40-mile radius. Travelers will float first as per requirement.
- Must provide at least two supervisory references covering one year of employment in a comparable specialty within the last three years.
- Completion of mandatory modules pre-start and annually.
