Responsibilities include: organizing inventory, assembling components using hand tools, reviewing completed components for defects, applying bar-code labels, and palletizing products for shipment. Typical products involve assembling steel cabinets with hardware, installing shelves, drawers, locks, and mounting hinged doors. Each unit is assembled per print based on specifications. You will work on the same product lines weekly. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and assemble quickly and accurately is required. Requirements: minimum 1 year experience in a similar environment or demonstrated work history with hand tools. East Bay Machine & Sheet Metal is a contract manufacturer serving automotive, industrial, and food & beverage industries. Founded in 2006 in Concord, the company has expanded to 2 locations with over 40 employees. We offer competitive pay, healthcare, retirement plans, holiday, and vacation pay.
