**Job Title:** Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** NICU Float
**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks
**Shift:** 12 hours; 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Hours per Week
**Experience:** 2–3 years of solid Level III or IV NICU experience required
**License:** Required RN License
**Certifications:** BLS (AHA), NRP required. STABLE preferred.
**Must-Have:**
- Level III or IV NICU experience with small baby care experience.
- Experience with CPAP/Bubble CPAP, siPAP.
- Experience in units with 40 beds or more preferred.
- Comfortable with EPIC, needing little to no guidance.
- Ability to take on most levels of respiratory support independently.
**Job Description:**
- Will be required to float to nearby locations for full shifts.
- Schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday.
- Must be first to float if needed, particularly to Pediatrics (PICU, PIMC, or PEDS M/S).
- Patient ratio of 1:1-3 in ICU and 1:3-4 in IMC.
- Floor orientation consists of 3 shifts.
- Responsible for caring for and adjusting respiratory gear independently.
- Work attire includes navy blue tops/pants, with the option for pediatric-friendly tops.
Candidates should be highly experienced and comfortable with a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. EPIC proficiency is required.
