Our DAYS shift schedule allows for a balanced work-life integration, making this an ideal position for professionals committed to excellence in surgical technology.Required Skills: Certification in Surgical Technology from an accredited program BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Proven ability to handle and care for surgical instruments and equipment Knowledge of sterilization, cleansing procedures, and maintaining a sterile field Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to perform heavy physical efforts, including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods Commitment to following universal precautions and safety protocols Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience in an acute care hospital operating room Knowledge of bloodborne pathogen protocols Skills in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Experience with on-call and weekend shifts Preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred At least one year of hands-on experience in surgical settings highly desirable Other Requirements: Availability for weekend and on-call shifts Willingness to travel to various healthcare facilities Certification/license reimbursement where applicable Compliance with universal precautions and safety regulations Physical ability to meet the demands of the role, including standing, walking, and lifting This position offers an hourly rate of $40.20 and benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), a robust referral bonus program, paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws, and reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and related expenses.
