The Position We're looking to hire a Senior Security Engineer (Privacy + Compliance) to join our team. You will work with our clients in one of two ways: Team Augmentation: integrate directly into a client’s team and work alongside existing designers and engineers daily. Design & Build: work on a FullStack product team to build and deliver a product to our clients. Responsibilities Responsibilities include: Design and support secure data handling, audit readiness, and privacy‑by‑design principles. Implement and manage COPPA compliance and children’s data privacy initiatives. Design or support content moderation systems, safety mechanisms, and risk controls. Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Contribute to libraries and documentation; provide forensic attention to detail and issue resolution. Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams. Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience as a Security Engineer or similar role. Advanced English and a four‑year college degree. Hands‑on experience with COPPA compliance and children’s data privacy initiatives. Strong background in secure data handling, audit readiness, and privacy‑by‑design principles. Experience designing or supporting content moderation systems, safety mechanisms, and risk controls. Prior experience with regulated or high‑trust consumer products is strongly preferred. Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed. Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications. Forensic attention to detail. A positive mindset and a can‑do attitude. Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams. Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems. Ability to take extreme ownership of your work; deliver on commitments to clients and the team. Identify with FullStack’s clients' goals and dedicate yourself to delivery.
