Job Title: Senior Environmental Engineer / Project Manager Our client, a reputable Environmental, Geotechnical, and Civil Engineering firm serving the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions, is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer / Project Manager. This role involves leading collaborative project teams to assist clients with water-quality and soil investigations, permitting, regulatory compliance, and related technical assignments across various industries throughout the Mid-Atlantic coast. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and eager to work with a highly qualified team of engineering professionals to deliver high-quality technical services for diverse project types. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with geotechnical and civil engineering staff to integrate remedial action plans, environmental permitting, monitoring, work plan development, and engineering solutions for industrial, hazardous waste, and solid waste projects in North and South Carolina. Participate in remediation project design, including developing concepts to address technical issues, conducting contamination assessments, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, designing remedial systems, overseeing installation and construction, and system monitoring, operation, and maintenance. Provide leadership for environmental assessment and response teams in both office and field settings. Travel periodically for fieldwork as required. Enjoy problem-solving, managing projects from start to finish, staying updated on current technology, and collaborating within a motivated, skilled team. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering (Master’s degree preferred). At least 5 years of progressive professional experience.
