Electrical Project Engineer (Electronics) Join Jacobs as an Electrical Project Engineer (Electronics) to drive advanced manufacturing projects. Responsibilities Own scheduling and technical quality of electrical engineering tasks across multiple projects. Coordinate with multi‑discipline teams to produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, control panel layouts, grounding, lighting, and power plans. Assist with complex design portions and provide on‑site support during startup and construction. Prepare construction documents and ensure alignment with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Qualifications Strong foundation in electrical engineering design for semiconductor, industrial or manufacturing environments. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, client‑facing role. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills. What You’ll Need Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering At least 10 years of experience building electrical systems engineering Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards Experience with power system software, preferably ETAP Experience with generator sizing and paralleling Extensive design experience with electrical power system equipment/components (switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS) Team leadership and client interaction experienceEffective verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) license Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Electrical design experience for semiconductors, data centers or mission‑critical facilities Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software Medium Voltage (MV) design experience Seniority Level Not Applicable Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Civil Engineering, Design Services, IT Services, and IT Consulting EEO Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
