**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) required, Oncology certification preferred
**Must-Have:** AHA certifications required prior to start
**Job Description:**
- Agency staff will not administer chemotherapy unless specially trained.
- Oncology and chemotherapy experience is not required for this position.
- Float required within the medical-surgical group based on staffing needs.
- Assist with CNA and Team RN tasks as needed.
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required.
- Cannot request multiple holidays off; unit staffs every other holiday.
- Previous Cerner user experience is preferred; specify years of experience if applicable.
- Candidates will float within the hospital as needed; specific details will depend on the specialty.
- Orientation includes 8 hours of modules completed using Kronos, which are non-billable.
- Required to complete BID, CCAP, and WI caregiver tasks within 48 hours. Proof of background initiation and lab appointment must also be provided within this timeframe.
- Flu vaccine required; only medical/religious exemptions are accepted.
- Must adjust schedule to accommodate lab visits for new assignments as per timeline requirements.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic oncology/hematology environment, providing care on a night shift rotation. Commitment to compliance and flexibility in assignment scheduling will be key to success in this role.
