Foundation Medical Partners an affiliate of Southern New Hampshire Health seeking a compassionate and experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) Hospitalist to join our team and provide comprehensive women's healthcare services in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in obstetrics and gynecology, excellent clinical skills, and a passion for providing patient-centered care.

 

About this position:

  • Manage laboring patients in our Birthplace. Recent $800k equipment update.
  • Respond to GYN and obstetric emergencies and provide care for high-risk deliveries
  • Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Mentor OB/GYN residents from Tufts and medical students from Dartmouth and UNE
  • 24/7 Certified Nurse Midwife on the unit to provide triage , first call on phones and management of low-risk deliveries.  CNMs are also trained to first assist on cesareans if needed
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Offer consultation services to other departments within the hospital for gynecological needs of hospitalized patients
  • 24/7 Dedicated OB Anesthesia coverage
  • Participate in labor and delivery unit protocols and quality improvement initiatives
  • Special Care Nursery managing 32 weeks and above
  • Perform GYN surgeries in our well-equipped OR or ASC
  • Outpatient Board Certified OB/Gyn Physicians provide backup as needed
  • 146 shifts per annum, flexibility for combination of 24 hour and 12-hour shifts
  • Nocturnist opportunity possible but not required
