Job Summary The Regional Sales Director is the senior sales management person for a region who manages and directs our sales team to achieve sales and profit goals in the region. The RSD will develop short and long-term sales strategies and be responsible for the budgets of the Sales Account Managers in the region. Job Duties and Responsibilities Collaborating with senior executives to establish and execute a sales goal for the region. Managing a sales team to achieve maximum sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate-set goals. Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals. Implementing appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume. Mentoring and teaching Sales Account Managers. Developing specific plans to ensure short and long term growth. Educating sales team with presentations of strategies, seminars and regular meetings. Reviewing regional expenses and recommending improvements. Other responsibilities as assigned. Salary: Min USD $110,000.00 per year. Max USD $170,000.00 per year. Qualifications Must be self‑motivated, positive, professional and lead others to create, develop and implement project process improvement(s). Superior communication skills and highly organized. Promote the company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners. Proven problem‑solving skills, critical thinking and ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentations. Must be able to travel within branch territory and/or regional territory as needed. Must be able to secure and maintain a company‑sponsored American Express card. At least a high school diploma or GED equivalency; bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the company. Minimum of seven (7) years of sales experience; preference for five (5) years in telecommunications or related technical or construction field. Familiarity with and effective use of a sales management software package. Minimum of six (6) years supervisory or managerial experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project). Meet company minimum driving standards. Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. Demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed tasks and manage these to final completion and customer turnover. Minimum years of experience: 6+. License required: None. Minimum education: High school.
