Position Summary The Director of Quality Management has oversight and responsibility over all quality, risk management, and patient safety-related activities within the organization. Directs the efforts of all the performance improvement initiatives to ensure overall compliance with all regulatory standards, including national, state, CMS, DNV, and other agencies. Works with clinicians and administrators to improve overall patient safety and systems level outcomes. Responsible for the facility’s quality, patient safety, and risk management programs with an emphasis on patient safety, and harm reduction. Supports, promotes, and encourages a culture of safety throughout the organization. Pay Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications. Minimum Qualifications Current RN licensure appropriate to state regulations (unrestricted) required 3 years of management experience in Nursing (acute care preferred) and/or Quality role Desired Qualifications BSN Preferred Certification in Quality (CPHQ or HACP) Infection Prevention experience preferred Experience with NHSN and IRF QRP data preferred Experience includes primary responsibility for performance improvement activities regulatory compliance, infection control, and risk management activities. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
