A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Adult Psychiatrist for a promising opportunity with their Outpatient Department in Brooklyn. In this role, the Adult Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to children and adolescents in an outpatient setting. About the Opportunity: Setting: 100% outpatient Schedule: Monday to Friday (4 days clinical; 1 day consultations) Patient Volume: 8 to 9 per day Call: Minimal Responsibilities: The Adult Psychiatrist will: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of adults Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate Provide therapy and counseling services as needed Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in quality improvement initiatives Maintain current knowledge of developments in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry Qualifications: Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York Board Eligible or Certified in Adult Psychiatry Knowledge of evidence-based practices and current research in Adult Psychiatry Your privacy is important to us.
