UAB Southern Alabama VISTA Leader

Overview The UAB Southern Alabama VISTA Leader supports VISTA members and the Southern Alabama Program Coordinator in building capacity for community organizations and VISTA members across South Alabama. The leader fosters collaboration with the UAB Central/Northern VISTA Leader and contributes to addressing poverty through sustainable environmental and community‑based solutions. Eligibility requires completion of one full term of service with AmeriCorps. Member Duties Increase the capacity of VISTA members in South Alabama by supporting the South Alabama Program Coordinator, UAB AmeriCorps initiatives, and efforts to address environmental and climate justice challenges.
