*Responsibilities*
* Performs initial nursing assessment for incoming clients.
* Arranges appropriate appointments with Health Care Providers to complete physical examinations, including required additional health screenings and supplemental tests.
* Administers medications and maintain accurate medication supply records.
* Maintains adequate inventory of medical supplies in compliance with governing regulations and agency policy.
* Implements and assures adherence to Infection Control policies and practices.
* Provides education for clients regarding health, nutrition, safety, and medication compliance.
* Manages Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
* Write and maintain updated multidisciplinary treatment plans for clients based on their needs.
* Other related duties as assigned by the Medical Director, Director of Nursing or Chief Executive Officer.

*Requirements*
* Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing is required.
* Current RN license in good standing in New Jersey is required.
* Current First Aid/CPR Certification issued by the American Red Cross or the American Red Cross Association required.
* May be recent graduate of approved nursing school or a minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience.
* Knowledge of health care issues pertaining to substance use disorders, including but not limited to mental health needs, women’s health issues, HIV/AIDs, and other communicable diseases.
* Knowledge of accurate record keeping in accordance with regulatory agencies and standards.
* Knowledge of nutritional requirements and practices.
* Ability to plan and organize work with prioritization and time management skills.
* Ability to prepare accurate records and reports.
