Radiology Physician Assistant

Highly successful radiology practice in the Atlanta, Georgia area is searching for an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their team This is a fantastic opportunity for growth in one of the most popular specialties for APPs. Candidates must have experience as a PA or NP in interventional radiology or another related field to be considered for this position, and must have at least 1-2 years of experience performing IR-related procedures. Responsibilities: Full-time position - Interventional Radiology Flexible schedule - 4 or 5 days per week with daytime hours No weekends, no evenings, no call, no holidays Collaborate with a fantastic team of PA providers and board-certified radiologists Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters and ports, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and more Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record Qualifications: Ability to obtain Georgia Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License Strong interpersonal skills Exceptional clinical and procedural skills Proficient with EMR systems Benefits: Competitive base salary with annual bonuses Health insurance - medical, dental, and vision 401(k) with matching PTO and paid holidays CME allowance Malpractice insurance Life insurance
