Job Summary/Description WMBF needs a strategic and innovative leader who can oversee all systems, workflows, and technology that enable instant and error‑free communication of our content to our audience across all platforms. The ideal WMBF Chief Engineer is a driven and detailed technician who can not only design, build, and maintain the technology that runs our business, but also leads and grows a team that provides critical customer service to our News, Sales, and Marketing departments. Duties/Responsibilities The WMBF Chief Engineer is responsible for our overall technical excellence. This position answers directly to the Vice President & General Manager. To succeed, this leader will help advocate for the station’s infrastructure and technology through continued investment, regular maintenance, and support of the individuals responsible for using it. Qualifications/Requirements Minimum five years of experience in local media technology, with broadcast expertise preferred. Minimum of three years in management, including experience leading people and strategic planning toward shared goals and objectives.
