Executive Recruiting | Finance & Accounting We are seeking a Director of Accounting to lead the accounting function for a large, complex, multi-entity organization. This role is responsible for overseeing full-cycle accounting, intercompany transactions, consolidations, and the monthly close process while leading and developing a sizable accounting team. The Director of Accounting will ensure accuracy, compliance, and scalability of accounting operations as the business continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the full-cycle accounting function across multiple legal entities Oversee intercompany accounting, eliminations, and complex consolidations Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Partner with FP&A, tax, audit, and operational teams to support business initiatives Manage and develop an accounting team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning Drive process improvements, internal controls, and system enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and advisors Qualifications CPA required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred) 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership in a multi-entity environment Strong experience with intercompany accounting and consolidations Proven experience managing a full-cycle accounting team Public accounting background and/or large corporate accounting experience strongly preferred Advanced knowledge of US GAAP ERP experience required; consolidation software experience is a plus Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Hybrid schedule in Atlanta, GA. 2 days on-site, 3 days remote Leadership role with significant visibility and impact across the organization Seniority Level Director Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Accounting/Auditing Industries Accounting #J-18808-Ljbffr
