*Qualifications and requirements*
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited program. Additional requirements include:

· BLS and ACLS required

· New grad RNs welcomed, 1 year RN experience preferred

· Basic arrhythmia recognition preferred for Telemetry

*Department/Unit Summary*

Our 22-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Telemetry with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:5/6 is staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Monitor Techs providing care for patients for a mix of patients including Med/Surge. Our unit has 24/7 CNA coverage who work closely with the RNs as well as 24/7 cardiac monitoring. This role offers the opportunity to work in a face-paced environment with rapid patient turnover while delivering high-quality patient care in a strong team environment.

Our 22-bed Med Surge unit is split onto two floors with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:5/6 is staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Patient Sitters providing care for a mis of patients including those on dialysis, diabetes, heart disease, geriatric patients, and recovering surgical patients.
