LUKE'S HOSPITAL in Duluth, MN is seeking a RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST to join our DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGY team Salary Range: $30.97 - $45.05 Hourly Schedule/Hours: NIGHTS, 8 hours Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend FTE: PART TIME, 0.80 FTE Off Premise On-Call: Yes NOW OFFERING UP TO A $6,400 SIGN-ON BONUS JOB SUMMARY The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic and surgical radiographic procedures; provide support services within the department when not performing patient procedures. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: By the time of hire into position must be a graduate of a two (2) year accredited radiologic technology program. Experience: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within ninety (90) days of hire. Within ninety (90) days of hire, BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: N/A Experience: N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to function well in stressful situations, exercise good judgment, accept responsibility, and carry out assigned tasks. Knowledge of radiation safety practices. READING - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. WRITING - Intermediate: Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, or procedures. SPEAKING - Intermediate: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations or before groups of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Basic Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. REASONING ABILITY - Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. AGE SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: Skilled at assessment and knowledgeable of growth and development.
