A highly regarded hospital facility in the Chicago area i s seeking a fulltime Psychiatrist with a leadership background to join their team This is an ALL INCLUSIVE opportunity with an immediate start. Job Title: Specialty Psychiatrist / Medical Director Location: On-site in Illinois Type of Position: Locum Tenens Start Date: 12/15/2024 Duration: 1 year Schedule: Fulltime employment applicant inquiries ONLY Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm (flexible start/end times, with possibility to work shorter hours 6 days a week or substitute a weekday for a weekend day) No remote options available Certifications Required: DEA Controlled Substance License BLS Licensure: Active Illinois State License Experience: 3+ years of clinical experience in psychiatry 2+ years of experience in leadership Responsibilities: Supervise 5 APRNs Provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure delivery of psychiatric care to patients in crisis Consult on complex cases and assist with patient care as needed Patient Demographics: Adults 18+ Acute mental health cases, crisis evaluations, psychological distress Screen patients in the ER and transfer to crisis center Unit Details: 12-chair recovery model Uses Cerner EMR system 27 total staff between PMHNPs and psych nurses If interested please reply back with an updated copy of your CV to
