**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certification
**Must-Have:**
- IV insertion
- Blood draws
- PICC/Central Line management
- Ability to obtain 12 lead EKG
- Ventilator management of stable trach vents
- Experience with Nitric Oxide and Trach Care
- Knowledge of feeding tubes and continuous bladder irrigation
- Wound vac experience
- Ability to read tele strips
- Medication titration skills
- Familiarity with common medications including Cardizem, amiodarone, Tikosyn, Cardene, nitro, heparin, Lasix, bumex, primacor, veletri, and insulin
**Job Description:**

- Adhere to high-quality standards in handling a specialized procedural patient population.
- Handle a patient ratio of 4:1, occasionally 3:1.
- Manage patients undergoing procedures such as heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), aortic and mitral valve replacements (AVR, MVR), transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR), transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR), carotid endarterectomy (CEA), transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR), convergent ablation, and pacemaker placements.
- Address top diagnoses including chest pain, sepsis, atrial fibrillation, syncope, collapse, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and heart failure.
- Utilize common equipment such as pacer boxes, pacemaker interrogators, bladder scanners, vein finders, tele packs/heart monitors, and EKG machines.
- Follow designated scrub color: galaxy blue (uniforms not provided).
- Utilize EPIC for charting.
