Emerge is actively recruiting for a Bilingual Maintenance Manager for a fantastic manufacturing client company in Medley, Florida. The Bilingual Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations of the plant, ensuring the proper functioning of plant equipment, addressing customer service needs, managing maintenance staff, and upholding safety and security procedures. The manager will handle a range of tasks, including administrative duties, problem-solving, and ensuring timely and quality customer service. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment, facilities, and buildings. Ensure safety and security measures are implemented and followed. Provide timely resolution to maintenance-related issues. Supervise and provide feedback to maintenance personnel. Manage paperwork and communicate effectively with both plant employees and corporate offices. Monitor customer service needs and work to improve satisfaction. Knowledge, Skills, and Competency Requirements: Technical Skills: Knowledge of welding practices. Proficiency in mechanical skills, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Familiarity with painting various surfaces (walls, tankers, etc.). Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively. Administrative: Competent in managing paperwork and facilitating communication across teams. Customer Service: Ability to manage difficult situations with customers professionally. Ability to solicit and apply feedback to improve services. Management: Responsible for subordinate activities and performance feedback. Regularly solicit feedback from both internal and external customers. Strives to continuously improve supervisory and leadership skills. Professionalism: Reacts calmly under pressure. Treats others with respect regardless of status or position. Safety and Security: Observes and enforces safety and security procedures. Reports unsafe conditions as needed. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operation, and maintenance instructions. Effective speaking and presentation skills in English. Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) required. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Demands: The job will involve physical activity, including lifting, standing, and handling machinery and tools.
