Senior Transmission Line Project Engineer (Northeast) WSP is searching for a Senior Transmission Line Project Engineer to lead engineering for multi-site transmission projects up to 765kV within the Northeast region. The role requires technical leadership, schedule coordination, and client communication across cross‑disciplinary teams. Responsibilities Lead and execute engineering for high voltage transmission projects. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts. Conduct weekly project status meetings and coordinate with clients on progress and deliverables. Ensure design and construction documentation meets industry standards for safety, quality, and functionality. Apply National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), RUS, and GO‑90 fundamentals throughout project phases. Assist project managers with scope, schedule, and budget development; support client relationship building. Support department forecasting, recruitment, and business improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. 5‑7 years of transmission line project experience, leading multi‑disciplinary teams. Professional Engineering (PE) licensure. Strong understanding of PLS‑CADD, structure staking, foundations, and construction specifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD/MicroStation, and foundation design software (FAD, SHAFT, LPILE). Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to WSP policies. Preferred Qualifications Field program planning, management, and execution experience. Subcontractor management and cost estimating skills. MBA degree and involvement in technical societies (IEEE, CIGRE, ASCE). Experience with ArcGIS and pole/tower design.
