Intercap Lending - Welcome HOME Summary We are seeking a dedicated Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant/Processor to join our team in our San Diego, CA office. The LOA/Processor plays a critical role in gathering and verifying borrower information, preparing loan applications, and assisting the loan processors to ensure a smooth and efficient loan processing experience. The successful candidate will work closely with borrowers, loan officers, and other team members to facilitate the loan origination process. The ideal candidate will have experience in mortgage loan processing or a related field, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Assist borrowers in completing loan applications and gathering required documentation for the loan process. Verify the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation, including income, assets, employment, and credit information. Input loan data into the loan origination system accurately and efficiently. Prepare and submit loan files to loan processors for review and underwriting. Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather additional information as needed. Assist in monitoring loan processing timelines and proactively address any potential delays or issues. Collaborate with the loan processing team to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Maintain accurate and organized loan files and documentation. Provide administrative support to the loan origination team as needed. Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of mortgage loan processing, underwriting, and closing processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with borrowers and team members. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and deadline‑driven environment. Familiarity with mortgage loan origination software and related technologies is a plus. This is a base pay position with a bonus structure tied to the annual earnings based on production levels.
