With Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Gynecology/Obstetrics, Family Planning, Behavioral Health, Podiatry, Dental (Pediatric & Adult), and Pharmacy practices, we take care of Tampa. Successful candidates will receive competitive pay, benefits, 18 days paid time off (PTO), paid company holidays, eligibility for student loan reimbursement, and more In return, we ask for a commitment to a work schedule of Monday-Friday.Desired candidates will be a graduate from an accredited medical school. Graduation from an accredited residency program. Current Florida medical license, current DEA registration certification. Board-certified or Board Eligible in a primary specialty. If board eligible candidates must be able to obtain within (1) one year from the start of employment.Duties:Record medical histories and examine young people from birth to twenty years of age; order diagnostic tests and interpret results to help determine the medical conditionDiscuss test results and explain treatments or medical procedures with patients and family membersRecommend and manage treatment, medication, therapy, vaccinations, and additional specialized medical care to prevent or treat diseases, injuries, and illnesses; monitor progress and conditions and revise treatments as neededAdvise and educate patients, parents, and members of the community in regards to activity, diet, hygiene, and other disease prevention methodsDesign and implement community healthcare programs to aid in the physical and mental development of adolescents and childrenCoordinate and supervise activities of therapists, assistants, nurses, students, and other support staff; refer patients to a specialist or other physician when warrantedClearly record all patient data, including history, exams performed, past and current medications, vaccination information, diagnosis, treatment plans, and prognosis, in the corresponding chartRequired:Doctor of Medicine specializing in pediatricsCurrent BLS and CPR certificationCurrent state medical licenseMinimum five years of family and/or pediatric experiencePreferred:Bilingual (English and Spanish) with experience serving a multinational, multiracial populationExperience in supervisory and leadership rolesExperience with learning and developmental delay disorders
