Neurology Physician Job Details Job Title: Locum Tenens Neurology Physician Location: Salisbury, MD 21801 (Maryland neurology jobs) Facility Type: Inpatient neurology unit Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts Weekly Hours: Approximately 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,390 - $7,560 Patient Encounters: 10-15 per shift Department Beds: 29 Trauma Level: Level 3 Start Date: March 2026 (ASAP start available) Contract Length: 13 weeks, with possible extension Neurology Physician Qualifications Board Certified Neurologist (required) Active and unrestricted Maryland physician license Minimum 1 year of inpatient neurology experience ACLS and BLS certifications (required) Ability to interpret radiologic exams Preferred: Experience with lumbar puncture, EEG, and brain death exams Estimated credentialing: 60 days Neurology Physician Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive inpatient neurology care to diverse patient populations Manage 10-15 patient encounters per shift in a clinical setting Interpret radiologic exams and administer thrombolytic therapy Perform lumbar punctures, EEGs, and brain death exams (preferred skills) Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Document patient progress and participate in care planning Discover rewarding locum tenens neurology jobs in Salisbury, Maryland.
