We are seeking an experienced Quality Control System Manager to join our team working on a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) project located in Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands . You will oversee all quality control activities, ensuring construction meets or exceeds contract requirements and quality standards. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and proven experience with USACE projects and RMS software. Our salary range for this position, based on the market data, is $100k to $120k per annum (range varies depending on experience and qualifications). Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Control Plan that outlines procedures for managing and controlling all construction activities Execute the Three-Phase Control System (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up phases) to ensure quality work at every stage of the project Conduct thorough field inspections to verify compliance with contract specifications and quality standards Create and maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, inspection records, and meeting minutes Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, environmental standards, and contractual requirements Coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, and government representatives to address quality issues and implement corrective actions Provide training and guidance to quality control personnel to ensure consistent understanding and application of quality control procedures Proficiently utilize USACE RMS 3.0, NAVFAC Bluebeam, and eCMS software for managing quality control processes and documentation Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate Qualifications to be successful in the role : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Previous experience working on USACE projects, required Proficiency with Resident Management System (RMS) software, required Minimum seven years experience in construction quality control, preferably in government contracting in lieu of education Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate issues before they arise Certification in quality control or quality management (preferred) Why Planate?
