**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 12-hour nights
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical experience in a PCU
**License:** Active Nursing License required
**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
**Must-Have:** Must not live within 100 miles of the facility. Option for on-call is required.
**Job Description:**
- Conduct general nursing duties and manage PCU procedures
- Utilize Cerner and EPIC charting systems, with access to Omnicell automated medication cabinets
- Work a rotating schedule from Sunday through Saturday, with no solo shifts; option for on-call work
- Occasionally float to other units such as Medical/Surgical
- Work within a 20-bed step-down unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1
- Follow a navy blue dress code
- Participate in a comprehensive orientation program: One day with an educator and two days on the unit with a fellow RN
- Flexible schedule with every other week RN orientation
**Comments:** Guaranteed hours will not apply during the orientation period.
