Responsibilities Engineering Project Manager – Lead Innovation That Protects Lives Are you ready to lead meaningful projects that make a real difference? We’re looking for a passionate and driven Engineering Project Manager to join our team and help shape the future of fire safety. In this role, you’ll lead cross‑functional teams to bring innovative, life‑saving products to market—products that literally protect from head to toe. You’ll report to the Global Program Manager, Fire Service, and take ownership of new product development (NPD) projects, from concept to launch. What You’ll Do Lead with purpose: Coordinate diverse project teams to deliver impactful solutions on time and within budget Drive innovation: Manage multiple projects – from quick‑turn enhancements to large‑scale platform developments Versatile portfolio: The products you will develop range from head to toe – literally – giving you the chance to work on a wide variety of life‑saving gear Empower collaboration: Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment where every voice is heard Communicate with clarity: Present ideas and updates to internal and external stakeholders with confidence Make smart decisions: Navigate technical trade‑offs, risks, and priorities with a strategic mindset Champion the customer: Translate user needs into clear product requirements and specifications Mentor and motivate: Guide team members, prioritize tasks, and keep projects moving forward Measure success: Use project management tools to track progress, identify challenges, and implement solutions Continuously improve: Identify opportunities to enhance products and processes with fresh ideas Qualifications What You Bring to the Table Deep expertise, broad perspective: You bring specialized knowledge in an engineering field, paired with a practical understanding of related disciplines – making you a well‑rounded problem solver. Cross‑functional leadership: You know how to connect the dots between Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Testing, and more – bringing people together to move projects forward. Innovation with urgency: You inspire teams to create high‑quality, customer‑focused products that are not only innovative but delivered with speed and purpose. Project management savvy: You’re confident using tools like MS Project, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Risk Analysis, Jira to keep projects on track and budgets in check Flexible and adaptive: You’re comfortable working in waterfall, agile, or hybrid environments – adapting your approach to fit the needs of the project and the team. Clear communicator: Whether it’s a technical deep dive or a big‑picture presentation, you tailor your message to your audience – bridging the gap between technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Organized and collaborative: You thrive in dynamic environments, juggling multiple priorities while building strong, motivated teams. Process‑driven mindset: You’re experienced with product development, research or engineering tools, ensuring quality and efficiency from concept to launch.
