Overview Lead with Purpose as a Store Manager at a top national convenience chain. You will drive store performance, motivate teams, and set the example every shift. This role requires hands-on leadership, openness to cross-training, and accountability for the store’s success. What You’ll Do Take full ownership of your store's operations, team, and performance. Lead and inspire a team of 8-15 employees across all shifts. Be the go-to person for coverage—typically work days but available for any shift, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Perform duties of store employees including running the register, stocking, upselling, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining the lot and fuel pumps. Coach team members to deliver excellent service and actively upsell promotions and key items. Recruit, hire, and train new team members with a focus on growth, accountability, and teamwork. Manage inventory, vendor orders, deliveries, and merchandising. Handle banking and cash deposits; must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance. Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, food safety, and customer satisfaction. Control expenses and labor hours while achieving store sales goals. Execute all company programs and marketing initiatives. Be willing to take on other store needs, including cross-training and stepping in to manage deli or QSR operations when necessary. Qualifications Open availability to work any shift as needed, including coverage for unexpected call-outs. A valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance (required for bank deposits). Retail or food management experience preferred. Willingness to lead by example in all store operations, including cleaning, upselling, and frontline service. Strong communication skills, integrity, and decisiveness. Minimum age: 18+ in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO; 21+ in all other states. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. In Tennessee, must complete Topshelf Manager Training. Exempt store managers are required to work a minimum of 52 hours per week.
