*NOW HIRING: Physical Therapist Responsibilities of a Physical Therapist:*
* Evaluate residents to determine their physical therapy needs and create individualized treatment plans.
* Implement and supervise physical therapy treatments to help residents achieve their goals.
* Monitor residents’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
* Educate residents and their families about exercises and activities that can help improve mobility and prevent injury.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards of practice.
* Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive care plans.
* Provide training and guidance to nursing staff on proper techniques for assisting residents with mobility and exercises.
*Physical Therapist Qualifications:*
* Current, valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
* Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
