Lauderdale, FL Reports To: Finance Director Salary: $7,000-$9,000/month Job Type: Full-time, Cycle Position (through November 2026) About the Campaign We’re building a bold, progressive team to take on one of the most competitive and consequential Senate races in the country. Our campaign is rooted in building a better future for Florida’s families—not manufacturing outrage to divide us. Role Overview The Deputy Finance Director will help drive the fundraising operation that powers one of the nation’s most high‑impact campaigns. This role is responsible for supporting the campaign’s fundraising efforts through donor events, call time management, and relationship building. This is a full‑time position based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, with flexibility for remote work and a relocation timeline. Compensation includes a competitive monthly salary and healthcare benefits. Key Responsibilities Manage candidate call time and assist with donor research and follow‑up. Plan and execute fundraising events, including logistics, invitations, and follow‑up. Coordinate event travel (expenses covered by the campaign). Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors and prospective supporters. Track contributions and maintain accurate donor records in compliance with FEC regulations. Support data entry, call sheets, and follow‑up communications. Staff the candidate and Finance Director at fundraising events as needed. Assist with other campaign priorities as assigned. Qualifications (Required) Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational and leadership abilities. Experience building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Previous campaign experience preferred but not required. Reliable transportation to attend events as needed. Proficiency with Excel, Google Drive, and data management tools. Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends. Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment with attention to detail. Ability to demonstrate multicultural competence and work effectively with diverse communities. Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment across race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and other identities. Qualifications (Preferred) Campaign and/or fundraising experience. Strong attention to detail and follow‑through. Prior experience working in Michigan is a significant plus.
