Family Medicine APP opening in Jefferson City, MO 30 miles to Columbia & 2 hours to St. LouisMedical Center is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a fun, busy, and team-oriented work environment. The opportunity involves full time clinic hours, Monday - Friday.This position will see Family Medicine patients for ongoing care of health conditions, preventative care, and acute care needs, practicing to the top of the licensure. This position will accumulate a panel of his/her own patients and follow them medically through the lifespan.Qualifications - Physician Assistant: Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts. Certified Physician Assistant (PA) certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department. Qualifications - Nurse Practitioner: Bachelors degree in nursing is required. Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days. Preparation as a nurse practitioner in either a Master's program or a certificate program. Must be granted a Document of Recognition from the Missouri Board of Nursing. Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
